Ross wins two awards at the Best Ottawa Business Awards (BOBs), announced at the November 24 ceremony

Ottawa, Canada 鈥� November 24, 2022 鈥� Today, 91快活林 announced the win of two Best Ottawa Business Awards (BOBs). This was celebrated at the Best Ottawa Business (BOBs) annual award ceremony and gala, where 91快活林 was announced as the winner of the 鈥楤est Business鈥� and the 鈥楤est Performance in HR鈥� awards.
The 鈥楤est Business鈥� award is one of the most significant accolades at the ceremony and is selected based on the winning company鈥檚 growth initiatives, financial strength, market position, and community involvement. Ross was chosen based on its status as an industry leader in the market, 30 consecutive years of growth, and strong community outreach efforts.
The 鈥楤est Performance in HR鈥� award is presented to a company based on a noteworthy human resource initiative undertaken by the company this past year. At Ross, the first highlighted HR initiative was the introduction of improved leave policies, which include maternity, parental, and adoption leave, as well as sick, family medical, and compassionate care. The goal of these enhancements was to better support employees and their families during challenging times. Additionally, the Ross HR team worked with the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) to qualify for and be designated as the first certified Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC), the first of its kind in Canada.
